Harriet Errington interviewed on BBC Radio Ulster on the 'John C. Depp, II v. Amber Laura Heard' case

Earlier today, Family and Divorce Partner, Harriet Errington joined journalist, author and publicist, Tina Calder and celebrity editor at Fabulous Magazine, Kelly Allen for a panel discussion on BBC Radio Ulster, hosted by William Crawley.

During the talk, William drew on the panellist individual areas of expertise to discuss the ongoing case of 'John C. Depp, II v. Amber Laura Heard (CL-2019-2911)' – a defamation trial in Fairfax County, Virginia, United States, that began on 11 April 2022. The parties divorce, ongoing affairs and trial has received a large amount of publicity and both actors, who were married from 2015 to 2017 but had been together since 2012, have been under the spotlight whilst the trial has been broadcast across the world.

In the interview, Harriet highlights the legal position for parties divorcing in the Family Courts in England and Wales, particularly in relation to domestic abuse cases and how this differs in the US.
