The Rwanda Bill has been a much-discussed topic in immigration law over recent years and earlier this week, Parliament approved plans.

Yesterday evening, Immigration Partner, Zoe Jacob joined the German broadcast channel, ARD to explain the legal nuances of the Rwanda Bill on behalf of The Law Society, where she sits on the Immigration Law Committee. This policy advisory committee helps shape Law Society policy on the immigration-related issues affecting the profession, access to justice and the rule of law – now and into the future.

In the segment Zoe referenced the Law Society’s ongoing concerns in relation to the Rwanda Bill, specifically the lack of access to justice for those impacted, and the need for the UK to uphold international law.
