Woolwich Contemporary Print Fair is back for 2022!

Next month, The UK’s largest contemporary print fair, Woolwich Contemporary Print Fair returns for its seventh edition. On a mission to educate collectors and novices alike on printmaking processes and techniques, give emerging artists a platform and share the joy of collecting original art with the masses, Woolwich Contemporary Print Fair was established in 2016 and continues to be a pioneer in the world of contemporary print.

In 2019, we launched the Boodle Hatfield Printmaking Prize. Now in its third year, the prize was developed to foster the career development and recognition of independent and emerging talent. The prize is shortlisted by members of our Art Law & More team, who select prints to be exhibited at the prize giving evening in the Boodle Hatfield offices. The previous winners are Sadie Tierney and Jake Garfield who won in 2021 for his print Private View.

We are excited to be hosting the Boodle Hatfield printmaking prize giving evening again this year on 27 October. At the event, we will welcome the shortlisted artists from the 2021 edition of Woolwich Contemporary Print Fair, along with guests of the Art Law & More team. The winner of this year's prize will be announced on the night. The winner will have a private booth at the 2023 edition of Woolwich Contemporary Print Fair.

Check out our Art Law & More Instagram feed to see the shortlisted prints for this year's prize.

Woolwich Contemporary Print Fair has been a client of Boodle Hatfield for the past five years and we are proud to support an event which showcases the best in international contemporary print by bringing together over 500 international artists and 800 original works for an exciting line-up of ones-to-watch, well-known names and internationally renowned specialist galleries.

Woolwich Contemporary Print Fair 2022 is being held from 3-6 November at The Fireworks Factory, 11 No.1 Street, Royal Arsenal, London, SE18 6HD.
